Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence was pulled late in Monday’s blowout loss to Buffalo. Before departing, Lawrence managed just 178 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT on a 55.2% completion rate.
Here's the young QB on another disappointing performance.
“It’s just one of those times when we don’t have any momentum,” Lawrence said after the loss. “It seems like everyone takes their turn in making a bad play at the wrong time, including myself.
I’ve got to play really well for us to win. That’s the NFL. The quarterback has to play well every week in order to give us a shot to win. I don’t feel like I’ve done that consistently enough. So I put that on myself.”
We're three games into the season, and Lawrence has yet to finish higher than QB23. He owns 560 passing yards and 2 total TDs.
From Lawrence to the O-line to the play-calling, the Jags aren’t an offense that can be trusted right now. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Jacksonville shake up the coaching staff at some point in 2024.
Lawrence will be off the 1-QB radar for Sunday’s divisional matchup with Houston.
