Cook managed just 3.5 YPC but showed his short-area quickness on a nice 13-yard run through the teeth of Jacksonville's defense. The third-year back nearly added a long-range TD catch, but the pass fell incomplete off his fingertips.
Ultimately, Buffalo’s commitment to the run and the performance of their O-line should supply hope for future production. Through three games, the Bills rank fifth in rush rate; ninth in EPA per rush.
Cook will remain a clear fantasy starter for Sunday’s matchup at Baltimore.
