Bears QB Caleb Williams did better than Week 1, but he still struggled completing 23 of his 37 passes for 174 yards and two interceptions. He also ran five times for 44 yards, leading the team in rushing. The Texans blitzed Williams, forcing him into short passes and mistakes throughout the game. Though Keenan Allen was inactive, it has been a rough start for the top pick in the NFL Draft.
Williams had a few moments in the game, but he ultimately couldn’t put enough together to make a fantasy impact for the Bears offense.
Next week, the Bears draw the Colts, who have a solid pass defense but are very susceptible to the run. It may be a more run focused game for the Bears.
In Week 4, Williams will draw the Rams who just gave up a monster game to Cardinals QB Kyler Murray. This could be a get right game for the rookie as he gains experience.
