Rams RB Kyren Williams ran the ball 12 times for 25 yards and a TD. He also caught four passes for 27 yards. With WR Cooper Kupp being knocked out of the game, the Cardinals focused in on the run and held Williams to a paltry 2.1 yards per carry. Though his fantasy day wasn’t awful, it was less than is expected from the stud RB.
Rookie RB Blake Corum ran the ball eight times for 28 yards, outgaining Williams on the ground. Though most of these carries were in garbage time, Corum could get some more run in the future.
Williams has a tough divisional match-up next week with the 49ers defense who will look to shut him down.
After that, he does have a plus match-up against the Bears where Williams could bounce back and go off.
