Saints WR Chris Olave caught four passes for 81 yards on a team-high six targets in Sunday's blowout victory at Dallas. His 4 receptions tied WR Rashid Shaheed for the team lead, while the yardage trailed only Shaheed, who caught a 70-yard TD.
One of Olave's catches found him coming down less than half a yard from the goal line. A half-yard more on that play, and he's got a strong Week 2 fantasy line instead of a merely decent one.
But his six targets accounted for a whopping 37.5% of Derek Carr's meager 16 attempts against Dallas. That makes 20.5% target share through two games.
Olave has been frozen out of the scoring so far, but the overall strength of the offense can only help all the pieces. And Rashid Shaheed's long scores each of the first two weeks figure to grab the attention of upcoming opponents.
If you already have Olave, then don't panic over his disappointing fantasy total through two weeks.
If you don't have him, consider checking to see if the Olave manager in your league is panicking this week.
There's nothing scary about upcoming matchups with Philly and at Atlanta.
Don't be surprised if you see the Saints wideout in an article or two on our site this week ...
