RB Rhamondre Stevenson once again led the Patriots backfield in carries with a final stat line of 21 carries for 81 yards and a TD against the Seahawks. He was also targeted five times in the passing game, though he only had two receptions for nine yards. It was a solid performance again for Stevenson, despite fellow RB Antonio Gibson also earning double-digit carries.
Stevenson was the workhorse on the ground, though averaged 8.7 yards per carry while Gibson broke a 45 yarder which pushed his stat line to 11 carries for 96 yards on the ground.
The Patriots will continue running the ball often, so Stevenson becomes a solid RB2 moving forward.
The match-ups are okay for Stevenson and the Patriots over the next two weeks going against the Jets and the 49ers. Both are decent against the run, but have given up big plays (including when they played each other in Week 1).
