Saints RB Alvin Kamara ran 15 times for 83 yards and a TD in a dominating game for the Saints against the Carolina Panthers. He also hauled in all five of his targets for 27 yards, providing a very solid PPR day for the veteran RB
Kamara had the most carries on the team with RB Jamaal Williams behind him rushing 11 times and adding another TD in garbage time.
The Saints were never challenged with a solid passing game and a lot of rushing to keep the clock moving against the Panthers.
We have often seen Kamara's best PPR games comes when the Saints trail and he can catch a lot of passes for a ton of volume.
In this game, it was Kamara's rushing that got him the big fantasy points, though QB Derek Carr still did his usual check downs when pressured to hit Kamara for small chunks of yardage.
Next week, the Saints will face a tougher test in the Dallas Cowboys defense who won't let Kamara have the same rushing lanes he experienced in Week 1. That being said, it could mean Kamara has more opportunities for receptions next week. Expect another solid PPR performance.
