Packers RB MarShawn Lloyd left Saturday’s preseason game with a hamstring injury. Lloyd carried once for 8 yards before departing.
Earlier in training camp, the rookie missed time with a hip injury. So it’s been a tough summer for the talented Round 3 pick, who many expected to slide into the RB2 role behind Josh Jacobs.
At least for now, AJ Dillon holds that job. He’s just not someone we can get excited about drafting as a handcuff (or potentially more). His career YPC is just 4.1. His career-long run is 40 yards…on 612 total attempts.
