Rams WR Puka Nacua suffered a knee injury, landing on his bursa sac, at practice yesterday and is considered week-to-week. Sources told Adam Schefter that it is "not serious".
Adam Schefter: "More injuries in LA: Rams standout WR Puka Nacua is now considered week to week after suffering a knee injury this weekend that one source described as not serious."
Nacua was seen with a bag of ice on his right knee during Rams practice yesterday.
It was updated today that Nacua is considered week-to-week and it could put Week 1 of the regular season in doubt if this lingers.
Though Schefter reported that a source described it as "not serious," any week-to-week injury this close to the regular season is concerning.
This shouldn't affect Nacua's fantasy value much as he is likely to start the season, but drafting a healthy WR in the same tier above him may be prudent.
We will wait for specific details on the knee injury and see exactly what the issue is. Certain knee issues can linger and it is possible for Nacua to enter the season with a questionable injury tag.
Nacua's role is not in any doubt but missing critical training camp time could have an impact on early season production.
