Panthers WR Xavier Legette is considered "day-to-day" with a foot injury he suffered on Sunday, according to The Charlotte Observer's Mike Kaye. Legette had an MRI that ruled out a fracture in the injured foot.
It sounds like Legette dodged a serious injury, but we'll see how quickly he's able to get back on the field. The relatively raw rookie needs all the reps he can get.
If you're taking Legette in redraft leagues, you're hoping he can be a fantasy asset over the second half of the season.
Missed time from Legette can only help WR Jonathan Mingo, who's drawn some positive buzz early in camp. Legette, Mingo, and Terrace Marshall are likely battling for the No. 3 WR job to open the season (behind Diontae Johnson and Adam Thielen).
