Rams WR Puka Nacua "slimmed down a bit to try and get a little faster and more agile," per insider Albert Breer. The Rams list Nacua at 6’2, 212 pounds. He showed up to the 2023 NFL Combine at 201 pounds.
Nacua spoke about the type of season he’s looking for in 2024.
“No. 9 [Stafford], he doesn’t miss,” Nacua said. “There are some mistakes that I make out there on the football field that he can kind of correct and the way he passes the ball. I feel like what we’ve seen in ’21 with him and Kupp, is a perfect match that we gotta try to (replicate), with perfect routes and perfect balls. That sounds like a recipe for success.”
Remember, Kupp tallied a monster 145-1,947-16 line in 2021.
Last year, Nacua scored as a low-end WR1 with Cooper Kupp in the lineup; a high-end WR1 with Kupp sidelined.
There's no doubt Nacua will remain featured in year two. He's fairly priced with a fantasy football ADP in late Round 1.
Nacua currently cracks the top ten of our WR dynasty rankings. At 23, the only question is just how much longer Matthew Stafford (36) can play at a high level.
