Kendre Miller left practice early after a hamstring issue in individual drills at training camp, per Nick Underhill.
Underhill: "Kendre Miller got hurt during individual drills and left early.
Saints RB Alvin Kamara practiced fully with no limitations. He ran hard."
HC Dennis Allen: “That’s a player who needs to figure out how to stay healthy because you can’t make the team in the training room”
Miller has been a noted sleeper for fantasy this year after finishing the season strong in 2023.
He was sustained multiple injuries last year including a knee sprain, hamstring pull and an ankle injury.
Allen's quote about Miller staying out of the training room to make the team is very concerning for Miller's future.
We don't know the extent of the hamstring injury at this time, but Miller will soon have an injury prone tag if he continues getting hurt. It is concerning that this is the second hamstring injury within 11 months.
Though the Saints have one of the worst OL in the NFL, Miller has the opportunity to earn the back-up role to Kamara. With how the Saints use multiple RBs, he could get some carries if healthy.
If the injury has any effect on Miller's practice time, he could see a slight dip in ADP.
