Colts QB Anthony Richardson (shoulder) will not have any restrictions to start training camp, according to Colts GM Chris Ballard.
“I'm not expecting any limitations right now," Ballard said.
A healthy Richardson has QB1 overall potential for 2024. He appears to have no lingering effects from an A/C injury that cost him 12 games last season.
Richardson also missed Week 3 with a concussion last year.
After posting two top-five QB finishes in the four games he played in 2023, Richardson looks to pick up where he left off last year.
His rushing upside along with a great offensive line for the Colts gives Richardson the ultimate fantasy upside this season.
Training camp should help Richardson build a rapport with WR Michael Pittman Jr. and RB Jonathon Taylor.
Keep an eye out for camp reports and updates from the Colts concerning Richardson. We should get a clear idea of how he is connecting with his weapons and performing during camp.
He played zero games with Taylor last season, so that is a major unknown for 2024.
Expect the hype to continue to grow for the most athletic QB in the NFL this season.
