The Los Angeles Daily News reports that Vikings WR Jordan Addison was arrested Friday night on suspicion of DUI. Addison reportedly was caught sleeping at the wheel of his Rolls-Royce on a freeway near LAX.
Vikings on Addison's arrest, via ESPN's Kevin Seifert: "We are aware of Jordan Addison's arrest this past Friday and are currently gathering more information regarding the incident."
It's too early to know whether this incident will impact Addison's 2024. It's already his second traffic infraction since entering the pros, though.
Addison got arrested in Minnesota in summer 2023 for driving 140 mph. He agreed to a plea deal in that case.
The combo could make him a candidate for discipline under the league personal-conduct policy, even if the DUI case isn't resolved soon.
We're not adjusting Addison's dynasty outlook for this arrest ... but he's not showing a great pattern of behavior.
The former first-round pick seems like he needs to grow up a bit or risk his off-field stuff getting in the way of his career.
It's especially unfortunate timing, coming just a week after Vikings rookie CB Khyree Jackson died in a car crash in Maryland -- one in which authorities "believe alcohol may have played a role."
