The Bears placed RB David Montgomery (knee) on IR, knocking him out for at least the next 3 weeks. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says "3-5 weeks" is Montgomery's timetable for return. We'll see if he can make it back before Chicago's Week 10 bye.
