Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
Packers QB Jordan Love (elbow) will have "no restrictions" in Sunday's Wild Card game vs. the Eagles, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Love put in full practices on Thursday and Friday and was left off the final injury report. We're not docking Love's projections for the elbow. But he still sits low in the Wild Card QB rankings in the matchup against Philadelphia's third-ranked QB defense.
Packers QB Jordan Love (elbow) is not listed on the final injury report for Sunday's game vs. the Eagles. He practiced all week, including full workouts on Thursday and Friday. Love admitted Wednesday that he was still dealing with some soreness in his throwing elbow, but it looks like he progressed over the last two days. We'll look for further reports on that elbow. But, for now, it doesn't seem like it will be a significant factor on Sunday.
Packers QB Jordan Love (elbow) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. He was able to throw, HC Matt LaFleur said. An injury to a QB's throwing elbow is always worth keeping a close eye on, but it doesn't look like this will keep Love from playing against the Eagles on Sunday.
Packers HC Matt LaFleur said after Sunday's loss to the Bears that QB Jordan Love could have re-entered with his elbow injury. Green Bay opted to hold Love out, ultimately losing and finishing as the NFC's No. 7 seed. That'll send them to Philadelphia in Round 1. But it sounds like Love will be ready for that one.
Packers QB Jordan Love injured his right elbow in the first half of Sunday's game vs. the Bears. He's officially questionable to return. Don't expect to see him back out there with Green Bay already in the postseason. We'll see if this injury might impact Love's availability for next week's playoff opener.
Packers QB Jordan Love (groin) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. The session took place in the rain, so there evidently wasn't much concern about Love aggravating his injury in the conditions. He seemingly has a legitimate chance to play vs. the Lions on Sunday, but we'll continue to keep a close eye on his status.
There’s "optimism" that Packers QB Jordan Love avoided a long-term groin injury, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Love is set for additional testing on Monday to get a better look at the damage. We should get a timeline for his return then. It's worth noting that the Packers have a Week 10 bye, although Love will surely play in next Sunday's big game against the Lions if he's able.
Packers HC Matt LaFleur admitted after Sunday's game vs. the Jaguars that there's a "high level of concern" about QB Jordan Love's groin injury. "I think everybody could see him struggling to move around," LaFleur added. "It got to a point where we didn't feel like, and he didn't feel like, he could protect himself." QB Malik Willis played well in relief of Love to get Green Bay the win today, completing 4 of 5 passes for 56 yards and a score and running 4 times for 23 yards. Willis went 2-0 as the Packers' starter earlier this season, totaling 324 yards and two TDs passing and 114 yards and a score rushing. Willis finished QB22 and QB6 in fantasy points those weeks. He'll at least be an option in 2-QB leagues vs. the Lions next week if Love misses. We should get an update on Love within the next 24 hours.
Packers QB Jordan Love left Sunday’s game against Jacksonville with a lower leg injury. Malik Willis is now in the game for Green Bay. We'll let you know if Love is able to return.
UPDATE: The Packers are saying Love suffered a groin injury. He's officially questionable to return.
Packers QB Jordan Love (knee) remained limited in Thursday's practice. "We'll give him up to game time," HC Matt LaFleur said afterward. We'll see how Love is listed on Friday's final injury report, but it sounds like a decision on his status for this weekend's game against the Vikings won't come until later -- and potentially not until Sunday morning. Vikings-Packers kicks off at 1 pm ET.
Packers QB Jordan Love (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Colts. He didn’t practice all week. The Packers really don’t want to have to start QB Malik Willis, so they’re holding out hope for Love. But he’s a long shot to play this weekend with what’s been reported as a multi-week knee injury.
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports that Packers QB Jordan Love's "initial timetable" for return is 3-6 weeks. "And there's some early optimism he could return sooner than later, pending a second opinion," Pelissero adds. Green Bay's bye isn't until Week 10, so that shouldn't factor into Love's return date. It sounds like we should plan on him missing at least the next three games vs. Indianapolis, at Tennessee, and vs. Minnesota. It's worth noting that the Packers medical staff has historically been cautious in bringing players back from injury.
Packers QB Jordan Love will have an MRI on his left knee when the team gets back from Brazil, The Athletic's Dianna Russini reports. Love does not have an ankle injury, per Russini, but "it’s just wait-and-see for more information" on the knee. We passed along earlier this morning that former NFL head team Dr. David Chao does not believe Love injured his ACL, but he's certainly not out of the woods as far as a multi-week injury goes. We'll keep you updated on his status.
