The Packers placed WR Devin Funchess on IR after he went down with an undisclosed injury last week. Funchess opted out of the 2020 season and played in just 1 game in 2019 before suffering a season-ending broken collarbone. He's still just 27, but Funchess' NFL career is on life support.
The Colts are not planning to activate WR Devin Funchess (collarbone) from the IR, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "The plate inserted into the break did not work out as hoped," Rapoport adds. "He hasn’t healed enough." Funchess is set to hit free agency this offseason. The Colts will move forward with Zach Pascal, Marcus Johnson and Chester Rogers as their healthy WRs. We'll see when T.Y. Hilton (calf) and Parris Campbell (hand) are able to return.
Devin Funchess scored as a top 20 WR as Carolina's lead dog over the 2nd half of last season. But what does the return of a healthy Greg Olsen and the addition of D.J. Moore mean for Funchess' 2018 fantasy value?
