Pat Surtain Out with Concussion
Broncos CB Pat Surtain II left Sunday's game agains the Chargers with a concussion. He entered the week outside the top 70 DBs in fantasy points per game, so there's not much IDP impact here. But missing their lead corner obviously hurts a Denver team D that has ranked among the best in fantasy so far. His absence would help Saints WRs in their Week 7 matchup if Surtain remains out. Of course, Chris Olave sustained a concussion Sunday as well. We'll see about both situations as the week goes on.
Jewell opens week limited
Broncos LB Josey Jewell (calf) was limited for Wednesday's practice. That matches his participation level from Friday's practice. Jewell entered Sunday's game against Houston questionable but missed his 2nd straight contest. Opening this week limited suggests he's likely nearing a return. We'll see if he's ready to face the 49ers on Sunday night. CB Patrick Surtain (shoulder) and EDGE Randy Gregory (knee) missed practice. Surtain left Week 2 with the injury. Gregory has played through the knee issue each of the 1st 2 games.

Broncos LB Baron Browning (back), OLB Malik Reed (hip), CB Patrick Surtain II (knee) and DE Shelby Harris (illness) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles. HC Vic Fangio said Friday that he felt "good" about Browning's chances of playing. Browning popped up on the injury report Thursday, missing practice. But he returned for limited participation Friday. Harris returned for a limited Friday workout after missing the 1st 2 days and seems to be trending toward playing. Reed managed limited practices Thursday and Friday after sustaining his injury late in the Week 9 practice run and missing the win at Dallas. Surtain returned to a limited Friday practice, and Fangio said he'd need to look back over the tape of Surtain's practice to determine his status.
Surtain out multiple games
Broncos rookie CB Patrick Surtain II is expected to miss multiple games after suffering a knee sprain in Sunday's win at Dallas, ESPN reports. Kyle Fuller and Ronald Darby figure to be the Denver's top 2 CBs while Surtain is out.
