Dolphins S Jevon Holland (knees), CB Jalen Ramsey (knee), and CB Xavien Howard (hip, thumb) are active for today's game against the Ravens. Holland missed the past four games with the knee troubles and remained limited in practice this week. There's likely some risk of re-injury, but Miami also appears to have been cautious in bringing him back. Holland's ultimately worth using as planned in most IDP cases. Ramsey and Howard are no more than low-level IDP possibilities.

Dolphins S Jevon Holland (concussion) and CB Xavien Howard (groin) are inactive for today's game against the Patriots. That leaves Miami without half of its top four in the secondary. CB Jalen Ramsey is active, however, for the first time this season.
Dolphins expect Jalen Ramsey (meniscus) to play vs. Patriots
The Dolphins expect to have CB Jalen Ramsey in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Patriots, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. That will make for a much quicker return than initially expected following his meniscus repair. Original reports had Ramsey expected to be out until December. It's tough to know whether the veteran corner will be ready for full playing time right away, as well as just how much impact he'll have on the Miami defense. But his return can only help a defense that ranks 24th in pass DVOA so far. Don't bet on Ramsey being an IDP factor right away, but he could get into deeper lineups after the Week 10 bye.
NFL Network: Jalen Ramsey (knee) could practice as soon as this week
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports that Dolphins CB Jalen Ramsey is "far ahead of schedule" in recovering from his August knee surgery. Ramsey could reportedly start practicing as early as this coming week. Pelissero says the team plans to "ramp him up gradually." But getting onto the field anytime soon would put Ramsey on track to beat his initial return expectation by a lot. We'll watch for more on his return.
Jalen Ramsey headed for full meniscus repair
Dolphins CB Jalen Ramsey is expected to get a full repair on the meniscus in his left knee when he goes for surgery Friday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. That would knock Ramsey out until December "if all goes well." It's reportedly the better option for his knee long term but obviously hurts Miami's defense this season. We'll watch for any change to Ramsey's status.
Update: Rapoport reports that Ramsey's Friday surgery indeed went this route. The full repair is expected to sideline Ramsey until December.
