Eagles HC Nick Sirianni said Wednesday that he'll rest starters, including RB Saquon Barkley, in Sunday's finale vs. the Giants. The Eagles are locked in as the NFC's No. 2 seed. So Barkley won't have a chance to get the 101 rushing yards he needs to break Eric Dickerson's single-season record. But he'll be healthy heading into the playoffs. Eagles QB Kenny Pickett was knocked out of Sunday's game vs. the Cowboys with a rib injury. Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio reports that Pickett was playing through broken ribs that he suffered in Week 16. He took painkilling shots both before the start of the game and at halftime. The Eagles are now locked into the NFC’s No. 2 seed, so there’s a good chance that it’s QB Tanner McKee under center in next weekend’s regular-season finale vs. the Giants.
