Dynasty Analysis

Davis tallied back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons -- one at Vanderbilt and one at Kentucky (2023). 2023 turned up his best work yet, including 3.81 yards after contact per attempt and a career-long 75-yarder on a sizable 73% carry share. Davis adds value in the receiving game. Stout and shifty, Davis should stick in a rotational role with the Bills.

Ray Davis Player Comp

Maurice Jones-Drew, UCLA (2006)

Like MJD, Davis boasts a bowling ball type of frame. He might not contribute much as a pass catcher but projects as a 1st/2nd-down asset in the pros.

Ray Davis Questionable For Divisional Round

Ray Davis Questionable For Divisional Round

Bills RB Ray Davis (concussion) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Ravens. He was limited in practice and remained in a red non-contact jersey all week. Davis still has work to do to clear protocol before kickoff. We'll keep you posted on his progress. Davis' absence would be a small boost to RB James Cook's carry projection.

Bills RB Ray Davis sustained a concussion in Sunday's Wild Card win over the Broncos. That leaves him iffy for next weekend's Divisional Round game vs. the Ravens. We'll track Davis' progress through the protocol throughout the coming week. Davis has been operating as Buffalo's No. 3 RB behind James Cook and Ty Johnson, so his absence wouldn't make much of a fantasy impact.

Bills RB James Cook ran for 104 yards and 2 TDs on 14 carries in Sunday's win over the Lions. What he didn't do, though, was see much receiving work. Cook also played just 41.4% of offensive snaps overall, his second-smallest share of the season.

Despite rushing for only 20 yards, Bills RB James Cook scored twice in a win over Kansas City. He added 5 catches (on 6 targets) for 7 yards.
