The Chargers will have nothing to gain in Sunday’s game against the Raiders if the Steelers win on Saturday, though. We’ll wait on the result of that game and see what it might mean for McConkey’s playing time. WR Josh Palmer (foot) is out for Week 18.

The Chargers are "optimistic" that WR Ladd McConkey (knee, shoulder) will play against the Buccaneers today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "The plan is for him to work out pregame," Rapoport adds. An active McConkey would be very tough to leave out of fantasy lineups against Tampa Bay's 24th-ranked WR defense. But we won't get the Chargers' inactives until a little before 3 pm ET. It'd be wise to have a late-game alternative rostered in case McConkey ends up inactive.
