Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (wrist) did not practice on Wednesday. Battling a torn ligament in his wrist, Hill probably won't practice much early in the week the rest of the season. We're expecting him to play his usual role against the Raiders on Sunday but will keep you updated on his status for that one.
Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill told ESPN's Lisa Salters that he's been playing through a torn ligament in his wrist. It's been an issue since training camp, Hill said, but worsened when he was detained by police the morning of Week 1. Hill was a game-time decision for Week 10 but wound up playing a normal 87% of Miami's offensive snaps. He finished with just three catches on four targets for 16 yards and a score, but it's tough to know how big a factor the wrist was. Hill remains a must-start in fantasy lineups for now. We'll continue to keep an eye on the wrist and his role in Miami's offense.
Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert didn’t receive a carry in Monday’s upset win over the Rams. He played just 15% of the snaps and ran a route on 7 of his 8 total snaps. Previously, Mostert saw 6+ carries in each game.
Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (wrist) will be active for tonight's game vs. the Rams, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Hill was reportedly a true game-time decision for this one after missing practice on Friday and Saturday. But he looked "fully healthy" in pregame warmups, per NFL Network's Taylor Bisciotti. Hill certainly comes with a lower floor than usual tonight. But if you were waiting on him, get him into fantasy lineups.
ESPN's Brady Henderson reports that the Seahawks will be releasing LB Tyrel Dodson. The veteran has started all nine Seattle games this season and come off the field for just 10 total snaps. But he also ranks 70th in Pro Football Focus run-defense grade among 78 LBs who have played at least 200 snaps. Dodson has fared much better in coverage (10th). But the Seahawks apparently either disagree or don't care.
Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (wrist) is a "true game-time decision" for Monday night's game vs. the Rams, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Hill first injured his wrist in a joint practice with the Commanders back in August, per Pelissero, and tweaked it again in last week's loss to the Bills. He didn't practice on Friday or Saturday and is officially listed as questionable. Hill did travel with the team to Los Angeles. "That's a good sign," Pelissero adds. "But they might not know until warmups whether or not he's actually going to play." This is obviously a tough situation for Hill's fantasy owners. If you have a strong (think top-20 WR) replacement option, benching Hill is just fine. Otherwise, we'd lean toward waiting on him -- with a replacement from this game on your roster as insurance.
Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (wrist) is listed as questionable for Monday night's game vs. the Rams. He was added to the injury report on Friday and missed the final two practices of the week.
Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill was added to the injury report and did not practice on Friday with a wrist injury. It's a new issue for Hill, who dealt with a foot injury last month. We'll look for further updates on his status for Monday night's game vs. the Rams and see how he's listed on Saturday's final injury report.
Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill caught 4 of 5 targets for 80 yards in Sunday's loss to Buffalo. The yardage marked Hill’s most since Week 1. He remains without a TD since the opener.
Dolphins RB De'Von Achane certainly liked seeing Tua Tagovailoa back in the lineup for Sunday's game against Arizona. The speed back rushed 10 times for 97 yards, adding 50 yards on 6 receptions.
Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (foot) is active for today’s game vs. the Cardinals. He was added to the injury report on Thursday and then did not practice on Friday, adding some risk to his Week 8 fantasy profile. But, with QB Tua Tagovailoa back, Hill is impossible to leave out of fantasy lineups.
Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (foot) is expected to play against the Cardinals today, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Hill popped up on Thursday's injury report and then did not practice on Friday. But, barring any further reports on his status, he should be in Week 8 fantasy lineups.
Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (foot) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Cardinals. He was added to the injury report on Thursday and then did not practice on Friday. HC Mike McDaniel said Friday that he’s optimistic Hill will be able to play on Sunday. We’ll look for further updates on his status and get Miami’s inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.
Dolphins S Jevon Holland (hand) and Edge Emmanuel Ogbah (biceps) will play Sunday against the Cardinals, HC Mike McDaniel told reporters Friday. Each player missed the Week 7 loss to the Colts. Holland returns as a DB3-level option in the Week 8 rankings. Ogbah looks like a DL4-5 with upside. Arizona QB Kyler Murray took 4 sacks apiece in losses to Buffalo and Washington. He has taken just 3 total sacks across the other five games.
Doiphins DL Zach Sieler will miss Sunday's game against the Cardals after getting poked in the eye in practice, according to NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe. HC Mike McDaniel said Friday they don't know Sieler's return timeline beyond that yet. There's no DL behind Sieler in Miami worth playing in his place in most IDP formats.
Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa has cleared concussion protocol and will start this weekend's game vs. the Cardinals, HC Mike McDaniel said Friday. Miami has totaled just 40 points without Tagovailoa over the last four games. They averaged 27.9 points per game with Tua last year and are implied for 25 points against Arizona this week. Dolphins players are back to their early-season spots in our Week 8 Rankings.
Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill was added to the injury report with a foot and limited in practice on Thursday. We don't have any other details at this point. We'll see what Hill does on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report for this weekend's game vs. the Cardinals.
Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) was upgraded to full participation in Thursday's practice. He remains on track to be cleared to return for this weekend's game vs. the Cardinals. Miami is implied for 25.25 points in that one -- after averaging 10 points per game without Tagovailoa over their last four.
Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) was officially limited in his return to practice on Wednesday. He still likely has at least one more stage of the protocol to pass through, but all indications are that he'll be cleared for Sunday's game vs. the Cardinals. We'll keep you updated on his status.
Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel told reporters Monday that they are designating QB Tua Tagovailoa to return from IR this week and plan to have him practice Wednesday. Tagovailoa still must clear the concussion protocol before playing in games, but McDaniel said they hope to have him ready to play Sunday against the Cardinals.
