Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
Bengals Edge Sam Hubbard got in his first full practice Friday since spraining the ankle that cost him the past two games. Cincinnati left Hubbard off the final injury report, meaning he's ready for Sunday's game against the Steelers. We'd go ahead and play Hubbard in IDP lineups as though he's full strlength. It's an upside matchup.
Bengals Edge Trey Hendrickson got in a full practice Wednesday and will play Thursday night against the Ravens. It's a surprising turnaround after he hyperextended his left knee on the final play of Sunday's loss to the Texans. Hendrickson doesn't even appear on the final injury report, so he seems ready for regular usage in IDP lineups. Edge Sam Hubbard (ankle), on the other hand, will miss his second straight game. He has yet to practice since sustaining the injury.
The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that Bengals Edge Trey Hendrickson (hyperextended knee) and Edge Sam Hubbard (sprained ankle) are "unlikely" to play Thursday night against the Ravens. Hendrickson suffered his injury at the end of Sunday's loss to the Texans. Hubbard missed that game after sitting out practice all last week. Cincinnati marked both players as not practicing on Monday's report. Cameron Sample started in Hubbard's place against Houston, with Myles Murphy and Joseph Ossai the next two edge guys up. None makes for a good IDP play in most fantasy formats. Lamar Jackson took no sacks and just 1 QB hit in his first meeting with Cincinnati this year, with Hendrickson and Hubbard in the lineup.
The Bengals have ruled Edge Sam Hubbard out for Sunday's game against the Texans. He missed practice all week with an ankle injury, which bodes ill for his ability to make it back for a Thursday night clash with Baltimore in Week 11. We'll watch for any progress toward that one. Cameron Sample looks like the next guy up but is tough to like for IDP purposes. Sample has just 9 total tackles and 3 QB hits on the season.
Bills S Jordan Poyer (knee) is active for tonight's game against the Bengals. He was questionable after getting in just 1 limited practice. On the Cincinnati side, DE Sam Hubbard (calf) is inactive.
Bengals DL Sam Hubbard (calf) is questionable for Monday night's game against the Bills. He remained limited in practice all week after missing last Saturday's game. Hubbard might be worth a shot if his game weren't the last of the weekend. As it is, it will be difficult to wait for him in IDP lineups -- especially without knowing whether an active Hubbard might see a more limited role than usual. Try to avoid him.
The Bengals have ruled DE Sam Hubbard (calf) out for Saturday's game against the Patriots. EDGE Trey Hendrickson, however, will play after missing last week with a fractured left wrist. We'll see how effective he is with 1 good arm. Bengals CB Cam Taylor-Britt (shoulder) is questionable for the game.
Bengals DE Sam Hubbard injured his left calf in Sunday's win over the Buccaneers. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports that the team expects Hubbard to miss "a few weeks" with the "hope" that he can make it back for the playoffs. Cincinnati was already missing EDGE Trey Hendrickson on Sunday, after he fractured a wrist the previous game. We'll see who's starting at those end spots for a Week 16 visit to New England.
Bengals DE Sam Hubbard (thigh) is active for today's game against the Browns. We'll see how much he actually plays, though, in a game Cincinnati clearly is not trying to win. Hubbard might be active because the team is missing so many other D-linemen. Trey Hendrickson, Larry Ogunjobi and B.J. Hill all remain on the COVID list, and D.J. Reader is inactive. LB Logan Wilson is also inactive.
Bengals DE Sam Hubbard is officially questionable for Sunday’s game against the Browns. We’re not sure how serious the thigh issue is, given that Hubbard finished the week with a full Friday practice. (He missed Wednesday then was limited Thursday.) The Bengals, of course, have already revealed that they’re resting some starters. We’ll see where Hubbard fits within that. The fact that many of the team’s other D-linemen are dealing with COVID or injuries might force Hubbard into at least some action. We’ve removed him from the rankings for now, though
