Miles Sanders Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Eagles RB Miles Sanders (hand) put in a full practice on Friday and isn't listed on the final injury report for Sunday's Wild Card game vs. the Bucs. It'll be his first action since breaking a bone in his left hand back in Week 16. There's a chance that the issue impacts his pass-catching ability, adding some risk to Sanders' fantasy profile. RBs Boston Scott and Jordan Howard will also be available for the Eagles.

Eagles RB Miles Sanders (hand) remained limited in Thursday's practice. He's expected back for Sunday's Wild Card game vs. the Bucs, but we'll get another update on Sanders on Friday afternoon.

Eagles RB Miles Sanders (hand) was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. It's an estimation since Philly only had a walkthrough, but Sanders is expected back for Sunday's Wild Card game vs. the Bucs. RBs Boston Scott and Jordan Howard are not listed on the injury report.

Eagles HC Nick Sirianni said Monday that he's "hopeful" to have RBs Miles Sanders (hand) and Jordan Howard (stinger) for Sunday afternoon's Wild Card game vs. the Bucs. It's surprising that he even mentioned Howard considering he played through that stinger in Week 17 before missing Week 18 on the COVID list. We'll keep you updated on the Eagles backfield throughout the week.

Eagles RB Miles Sanders (hand) is out for Saturday's game vs. the Cowboys. HC Nick Sirianni said earlier this week that Sanders is expected back for the 1st round of the playoffs. RBs Boston Scott and Jordan Howard remain on the COVID list as of Friday morning, so rookie Kenneth Gainwell might be left as Philly's lead back on Saturday.

Eagles HC Nick Sirianni said Monday that he's hoping to get RB Miles Sanders (hand) back for the 1st round of the playoffs. In other words, he won't play in the regular-season finale. With RBs Boston Scott and Jordan Howard landing on the COVID list on Monday, rookie Kenneth Gainwell might be left standing as the Eagles' top RB in Saturday night's game vs. the Cowboys.

Eagles RB Miles Sanders (hand) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game vs. Washington. RB Jordan Howard (stinger) is listed as questionable after getting in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. If Howard is able to play this weekend, he’d likely split backfield work with Boston Scott. If Howard is out, Scott becomes a strong RB2 play.

Eagles RBs Miles Sanders (hand) and Jordan Howard (stinger) did not practice on Wednesday. We know that Sanders will miss this weekend's game vs. Washington with his fractured hand. Howard's availability is uncertain. We might be looking at a Boston Scott + Kenneth Gainwell Eagles backfield on Sunday.

Eagles HC Nick Sirianni told reporters Monday that RB Miles Sanders will miss Sunday's game against Washington with the broken bone in his left hand but that the team is not placing him on IR. That obviously means they hope to get him back within the next 3 games. It's nice to have him ruled out early for Week 17, though, so we can drop Sanders from most redraft fantasy football rosters. We'll need to see whether RB Jordan Howard is ready to play after sustaining a stinger in Sunday's win over the Giants. That injury makes Boston Scott the top early option on waivers.

Eagles RB Miles Sanders broke a bone in his left hand in Sunday's win over the Giants, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Sanders will reportedly have further testing today to determine whether he can play through the injury. If he can't, then Jordan Howard and Boston Scott would likely be in line to share lead-RB duties for Sunday's visit to Washington.
