Marshon Lattimore Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Saints CB Paulson Adebo fractured his right femur in Thursday night's loss to the Broncos. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Adebo already had surgery early Friday morning and is looking at a 4-5 month recovery timeline. Adebo is set to hit unrestricted free agency in March.

The Saints placed CB Marshon Lattimore (knee) on IR ahead of Sunday's loss to the Falcons. That means he'll miss at least three more games, improving the WR matchups for the Lions, Panthers, and Giants the next three weeks. Unfortunately for us, that trio of teams doesn't feature many WRs worth plugging into starting lineups in common-sized fantasy football leagues.

Saints CB Marshon Lattimore is active for today's game against the Eagles. It will be his 1st game action since Week 5 internal injuries that included a lacerated kidney. It's tough to know how effective he'll be, but New Orleans has clearly been cautious with the veteran. And he carried no game status on the final injury report of the week, despite remaining limited in practice. The long layoff will likely lessen any hesitation the Eagles might have about challenging Lattimore in coverage, which would help his target count. Lattimore will be a risk-reward play in IDP lineups for Week 17.

Saints LB Pete Werner (hamstring) and CB Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles. Each put in limited practices all week. Lattimore still hasn't played since Week 5 and would be tough to use in IDP lineups if active. Werner returned from ankle surgery in Week 15 but left that contest early with the hamstring issue. The lack of a full practice makes him risky as well. New Orleans has ruled S Marcus Maye (shoulder) out for the game.

Saints CB Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) is inactive for today's game against the Browns. S Marcus Maye (shoulder) is active.

Saints LB Pete Werner (ankle) is active for today's game against the Falcons. It'll be his 1st game since the Week 9 injury that required surgery. There will be some risk to using him in that return game, especially given that Werner remained limited in practice all week. But he has been a high-ceiling IDP performer when healthy this year. CB Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) is inactive once again. He hasn't played since Week 5.

Saints LB Pete Werner (ankle) and CB Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Falcons. Both guys entered Week 13 questionable -- before the bye -- but didn't play. Werner and Lattimore each remained limited throughout this practice week. We'll see whether either is finally ready to return come Sunday.

Saints CB Marshon Lattimore (kidney) and LB Pete Werner (ankle) are inactive for tonight's game against the Buccaneers. Werner's absence keeps LB Kaden Elliss in play for IDP lineups if you were waiting on him or otherwise have an opening tonight.

Saints CB Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) and LB Pete Werner (ankle) are questionable for Monday night's game against the Buccaneers. It would be the 1st game in a while for each player, which adds risk to waiting for either in your IDP lineup. There is upside to each if you want to take the chance and have a fallback ready.

Saints EDGE Cameron Jordan (eye) is active for today's game against the 49ers, as is EDGE Marcus Davenport (calf). CB Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) is inactive. He still hasn't played since Week 5, recovering from what NewOrleans.Football calls a kidney injury.

Saints EDGE Cameron Jordan (eye) is questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers. He managed limited practices all week after missing the 1st game of his career with an orbital-bone injury. We'd bet on him returning. EDGE Marcus Davenport (calf) and CB Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) are also questionable. Lattimore is the one to watch. If he's ready to go, it would be his 1st appearance since Week 5.

The Saints have ruled CB Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) and LB Pete Werner (ankle) out for Sunday's game against the Steelers. S Marcus Maye (abdomen) is questionable after missing practice Thursday and Friday. EDGE Marcus Davenport (calf) is questionable after being limited all week.

Saints CB Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) and S Marcus Maye (abdomen) missed practice for the 2nd straight day Thursday. We'll see whether either can make it back for Friday's practice.
