Lamar Jackson Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) remained sidelined for Thursday's practice. He's questionable at best for this weekend's game vs. the Bengals. Check back tomorrow for another update on his status.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) remained sidelined for Wednesday's practice. Jackson's status for this weekend's game vs. the Bengals is uncertain. Tyler Huntley would be a borderline QB1 for that one if Jackson is out.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Packers. Jackson reportedly improved late in the week, so we’re tentatively expecting him back for next Sunday’s game vs. Bengals. QB Tyler Huntley gets the start today. He’s played pretty well in relief of Jackson this year, completing 68% of his passes. So Baltimore’s skill-position players are still in play for fantasy lineups. Huntley is an upside QB2 thanks to his rushing ability.

ESPN's Adam Schefter hears that Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) "was moving around better in practice this weekend, raising some hopes - however unlikely - he could make it back" for today's game vs. the Packers. Schefter adds that Jackson is dealing with a bone bruise in his ankle, not an ankle sprain as originally reported. It still sounds like Jackson is worse than 50/50 to start today -- and we won't get his official game status until 3 pm ET. We'll be on the lookout for further updates. But, as of now, Jackson should still be on fantasy benches.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Packers. He didn’t practice all week. HC John Harbaugh said Friday that Jackson “has a chance” to play, but NFL Network's Mike Garafolo called it an "uphill battle.” At this point, we’re expecting QB Tyler Huntley to get the start for Baltimore. But we’ll keep you posted on Jackson’s status.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo calls it an "uphill battle" for Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) to play vs. the Packers on Sunday. The team was reportedly hoping to get Jackson on the practice field on Thursday, but he wasn't able. Jackson hasn't been ruled out for Week 15, but fantasy owners should now be preparing to be without him. We're removing Jackson from the Week 15 QB rankings and adding QB Tyler Huntley.

Ravens OC Greg Roman said Thursday that QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) "could go down to the wire" for this weekend's game vs. the Packers. “He’s getting treatment around the clock," Roman added. "He’s a good healer but we’ll just have to see what the doctors say.” Fantasy owners would be in a tough spot if Jackson ends up as a game-time decision because that game doesn't kick off until 4:25 pm ET on Sunday. Jackson, of course, will also carry a lower ceiling and floor if he plays at less than 100%.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) won't practice on Wednesday, HC John Harbaugh said. We wouldn't expect Jackson to practice much, if at all, this week and are expecting him to be a game-time decision for Sunday's tilt with the Packers. We'll keep you updated.

Ravens HC John Harbaugh said Monday that "the plan right now" is to have QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) for Sunday's game vs. the Packers. It's probably an optimistic outlook, but it at least sounds like Jackson avoided a serious injury. We'll obviously keep a close eye on his progress this week. Jackson owners should still be lining up a backup plan for Week 15.

The Ravens believe QB Lamar Jackson is dealing with a low-ankle sprain, according to ESPN's Dianna Russini. Jackson is expected to undergo testing on the ankle on Monday. A low sprain would be better than high but could still cost Jackson time. We should learn more tomorrow.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson appeared to injure his right leg in the 2nd quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Browns. He was taken to the medical tent before being carted back to the locker room. We'll update Jackson's status when we know more. He was replaced by QB Tyler Huntley.

Update: Jackson has an ankle injury, the team announced.

Update: Jackson has been ruled out.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (illness) put in a full week of practice and isn't listed on the final injury report. He's ready to roll for Sunday night's game vs. the Browns and should be back in fantasy lineups.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (illness) was a full-go in Wednesday's practice. He's on track to return for Sunday night's game vs. the Browns.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (illness) is INACTIVE for today’s game vs. the Bears. QB Tyler Huntley gets his 1st career start. Huntley went undrafted out of Utah last year and has attempted just 16 NFL passes. He completed a solid 67.2% of his college passes with 46 TDs to 20 INTs. Huntley also ran for 1,146 yards and 16 scores at Utah and is a 95th percentile athlete for his position. There’s rushing upside here, but Huntley is a clear downgrade for Baltimore’s passing game.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is dealing with a "significant sickness," NFL Network's Stacey Dales reports. "Truly a 50-50 chance he plays," Dales adds. Jackson just arrived to the stadium and is set to be evaluated by team doctors to determine whether he's able to play vs. the Bears today. We'll get word at 11:30 am ET. QB Tyler Huntley will start if Jackson can't.

A league source tells ESPN's Adam Schefter that Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is "50/50" for Sunday's game vs. the Bears. Jackson has been dealing with a non-COVID illness all week, missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday. We'll continue to look for updates on Jackson's status and will get Baltimore's inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson has been added to the injury report as questionable with an illness. He missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday with an illness but was a full-go on Friday and left off the original injury report. We'll look for further updates on Jackson and will get his game status around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.
