Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
Cowboys WR Amari Cooper has landed on the COVID list. He's out for Sunday's game vs. the Chiefs and the Thanksgiving game vs. the Raiders. Cooper's absence should mean target boosts for CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup and Dalton Schultz. Cedrick Wilson is the favorite for #3 WR duties, but Noah Brown and Malik Turner might also mix in.
Cowboys WRs CeeDee Lamb (ankle) and Amari Cooper (hamstring) are active for today’s game vs. the Broncos. Both guys were listed as questionable but expected to play. They come with a bit more risk than usual in Week 9 fantasy lineups.
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports that Cowboys WRs CeeDee Lamb (ankle) and Amari Cooper (hamstring) will play vs. the Broncos today. Both guys are listed as questionable but can penciled into fantasy lineups. We'll get Dallas' inactives around 11:30 am ET.
Cowboys WRs CeeDee Lamb (ankle) and Amari Cooper (hamstring) are listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Broncos. Lamb hurt his ankle in Wednesday’s practice, was sidelined on Thursday and returned to a limited practice on Friday. Cooper put in 3 limited practices this week. Both guys are expected to play on Sunday. We’ll let you know if that changes.
Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (calf) is inactive for tonight’s game vs. the Vikings. He was seemingly close to playing, but Dallas is playing it safe here. We’re expecting Prescott back next week. QB Cooper Rush makes his 1st career start tonight -- a clear downgrade for Cowboys pass catchers.
The Dallas Morning News' Michael Gehlken tweets, "It would surprise many close to situation if Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (calf) starts Sunday vs. Vikings." On top of his calf issue, Prescott left the team on Friday following the death of his grandmother. He's back with the team now and traveled to Minnesota. But Gehlken notes that backup QB Cooper Rush saw the "most meaningful reps" of the practice week. At this point, we're leaning toward Prescott missing Sunday night's game. But we'll see if we get a more concrete update on Sunday morning.
Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game against the Vikings. He was limited in practice all week. Prescott felt and looked good in practice by all accounts, but he’s admitted that the team has the final say on whether he plays Sunday night. That decision is expected to be made on Saturday. QB Cooper Rush will make his 1st career start if Prescott is out. Stay tuned.
Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (hamstring) is active for today’s game vs. the Giants. He played only 48% of the offensive snaps last week and got in 2 limited practices this week. Cooper is a risk/reward WR2 in Week 5 fantasy lineups.
Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (hamstring) is expected to play vs. the Giants today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Cooper played through this injury last week and got in 2 limited practices this week. Still, he comes with elevated risk in fantasy lineups today.
Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (hamstring) is questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Giants after getting in 2 limited practices. He returned to last week’s game after hurting that hamstring but ended up playing just 48% of Dallas’ offensive snaps. Cooper is a risk/reward WR2 in Week 5 fantasy lineups.
Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (hamstring) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. He played through this injury last week -- although he posted a 48% route rate. It'd be nice to see Cooper get in a full workout on Friday.
Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. He returned to last week's game after hurting the hammy but ended up playing just 48% of Dallas' offensive snaps. We'll keep an eye on his status over the next few days, but he's shaping up as a risk/reward Week 5 fantasy play.
Cowboys WR Amari Cooper appeared to injure his right hamstring in the 1st quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Panthers. Stay tuned for an update.
Update: Cooper returned to the game.
Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (rib) is not listed on the final injury report. So he'll play against the Eagles on Monday night but will do so with a cracked rib. That obviously adds risk to his fantasy profile. But Cooper's ceiling makes him tough to bench.
Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (rib) was listed as a full participant in Friday's practice. That's pretty much confirmation that he'll play through his cracked rib on Monday night vs. the Eagles. He obviously carries more risk than usual with that injury, but there's still loads of upside here.
Cowboys WR Amari Cooper told reporters on Friday that he has a cracked rib. He also said that he'll play vs. the Eagles on Monday night. “I don’t need to be 100%” to play, Cooper said. We'll see how he's listed on Dallas' final injury report on Saturday. Assuming he's out there on Monday night, he'll be a risk/reward fantasy play.
Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (ribs) is expected to be a limited participant in Thursday's practice. The fact that he'll be out there for the 1st practice of the week is encouraging. We'll continue to track Cooper's status leading up to Monday night's game vs. the Eagles.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Tuesday that he's not sure if WR Amari Cooper (ribs) will be able to play against the Eagles on Monday night. “I don’t know today," Jones admitted. "I’m hopeful those ribs can get comfortable enough to play." We'll keep a close eye on Cooper's status throughout the week, but the Monday night kickoff might leave fantasy owners in a tricky spot.
