Week 18 FanDuel Tournament Picks
NFL DFS Picks for Tournament and GPP Play
Quarterbacks
Kyler Murray, Cardinals ($8,000) vs. Seahawks
Ownership projection: 5%
Murray posted a season-high 25 FanDuel points in Sunday’s win over Philadelphia.
This week, he sits fifth in ceiling projection against a Seahawks defense dealing with a several injury question marks in the front-seven.
Also consider: Justin Fields
Running Backs
Derrick Henry, Titans ($7,300) vs. Jaguars
Ownership projection: 2%
Henry enters perhaps his last game as a Titan, as the 30-year-old is on track for free agency.
He disappointed last week at Houston, but his price dipped $700 ahead of a home matchup vs. the Jags.
I’ll still buy a ceiling here, especially with Henry sitting on 13 TDs at nearly 1.5 goal line carries per game.
Roschon Johnson, Bears ($5,400) at Packers
Ownership projection: 9%
This one is speculative, since it hinges on the status of Khalil Herbert (back). But Herbert drew a questionable tag on Friday following a missed practice.
D’Onta Foreman would likely get activated following back to back weeks on the sideline. Still, it would make sense for Chicago to get an extended look at the rookie. He’s hit double-digit touches in three straight.
Green Bay, of course, supplies an excellent matchup. Only three teams have allowed more half-PPR points to RBs.
Also consider: Kenneth Walker, James Cook, Aaron Jones, Bijan Robinson, Jordan Mason
Wide Receivers
D.J. Moore, Bears ($8,000) at Packers
Ownership projection: 10%
Moore's already set career highs in receiving yards (1,300) and TDs (8). With two catches, he'll set another career high.
While CB Jaire Alexander is set to return – and play shadow coverage – Moore retains a ceiling that’s worth chasing at a discounted ownership.
The former Panther has reached 17 FanDuel points four times over his past six outings. Over that stretch, he sits third among WRs in target share (33.6%).
Chris Olave, Saints ($7,600) at Buccaneers
Ownership projection: 12%
Olave dropped 7-114 on the Falcons back in Week 12. A mid-pack matchup in FD points allowed, Atlanta just surrendered 9 catches, 159 yards, and 1 score to D.J. Moore.
Here's an extra tidbit to consider. While Derek Carr's underwhelmed on the year, he actually sits first in PFF passing grade over the past five weeks.
Tutu Atwell, Rams ($4,800) vs. 49ers
Ownership projection: 1%
Atwell hasn’t caught a pass since Week 13, but there’s reason to mix him into tournament builds as a salary-saver.
We know Cooper Kupp will miss Sunday’s game. While Pucka Nacua is slated to play, we project a limited role as the Rams are locked into the No. 6 or No. 7 seed.
The season debut of Carson Wentz adds another layer of uncertainty here. Look to the other side, though, and the 49ers matchup looks fine. They’ve already ruled out S Tashaun Gipson, S Ji'Ayir Brown, and CB Ambry Thomas.
Also consider: CeeDee Lamb, Justin Jefferson, D.K. Metcalf, Garrett Wilson, Brandin Cooks, Gabe Davis
Tight Ends
Dallas Goedert, Eagles ($6,100) at Giants
Ownership projection: 6%
Goedert vs. Jake Ferguson made for a tough call. They’re both strong options, but I’ll highlight the Eagle at a $500 discount and a lower projected ownership rate.
Philly ruled out DeVonta Smith on Friday, and his absence removes 7 targets per game. Goedert, meanwhile, has gone 9, 9, 6 in targets over his past three.
Now, Philly needs to win and have the Cowboys lose to capture the NFC East crown. That’s unlikely with Dallas facing Washington, so HC Nick Sirianni might pull starters late if Dallas is up big. But that’s what makes Goedert a tournament-only option.
Also consider: Jake Ferguson, Darren Waller
Defense
Raiders ($3,700) vs. Broncos
Also consider: Rams
