Week 14 FanDuel Tournament Picks
NFL DFS Picks for Tournament and GPP Play
Quarterback
Justin Fields, Bears ($7,900) vs. Lions
Ownership projection: 13%
Fields made the cash-game article, but he fits for tournaments as well.
While he leads the slate in projected ownership, 13% isn't a wild number. At a reasonable price, you're gaining access to a guy sitting tied for third (with Patrick Mahomes) in ceiling projection.
You already know about Fields' rushing upside. He ranks second among QBs in rush attempts per game (9.6). Now fresh off a bye and entering a positive passing matchup, he truly projects well for tournaments.
Also consider: Patrick Mahomes
Running Back
Rachaad White, Bucs ($7,400) at Falcons
Ownership projection: 12%
White catches the Falcons at the right time, as they'll be without a couple of key run defenders.
White hasn't needed much help to deliver lately. He's reached 12 FD points (and 15+ opportunities) in seven straight, a stretch that includes two games of 18+.
Jerick McKinnon, Chiefs ($5,300) vs. Bills
Ownership projection: 15%
Isiah Pacheco was ruled out on Friday. His absence removes 17.5 touches per game and opens the door for McKinnon to see the bulk of the receiving work.
Note: McKinnon was on the injury report with a groin before K.C. removed him from the final list on Friday. So we're not anticipating any type of touch limitation.
Current projections have him for roughly 10 touches with the upside for more. Bills-Chiefs turns up the highest over/under on the main slate (48.5).
Also consider: Alvin Kamara, Bijan Robinson, Javonte Williams, James Cook
Wide Receiver
DJ Moore, Bears ($7,700) vs. Lions
Ownership projection: 6%
Moore certainly fits with Justin Fields stacks, but he's viable in any build at his price and matchup.
The former Panther has hit 5+ catches in 4 of 5 home games. In his last meeting with the Lions' slumping defense, Moore racked up 7 catches, 96 yards, and 1 score on a 39.1% target share.
Davante Adams, Raiders ($7,400) vs. Vikings
Ownership projection: 7%
When a top talent is priced in the mid-tier, it always catches my attention.
Adams has hit 7 targets in six straight; 70+ yards in three straight. Perhaps we get a post-bye bump from QB Aidan O'Connell. But I think there's enough upside to chase here regardless, especially in a matchup that could easily find Vegas playing from behind.
The Raiders are currently 3-point home underdogs.
Parker Washington, Jaguars ($4,100) at Browns
Ownership projection: 7%
How often do we get a chance to play someone viable at $4.1k?
Of course, an active Trevor Lawrence would help. We'll see on his status Sunday morning.
Washington, though, showed he's ready to contribute down the stretch following a 6-61-1 outing in Week 13. WR Christian Kirk's multi-week injury also opens up a significant slice of the target pie.
The matchup with Cleveland isn't ideal, but the forecast has at least improved entering the weekend. Wind shouldn't be a factor, while rain looks spotty, per meteorologist Kevin Roth.
Also consider: Stefon Diggs, Brandon Aiyuk, Drake London, Garrett Wilson, Elijah Moore

Tight End
Brevin Jordan, Texans ($5,000) at Jets
Ownership projection: 3%
There's a lot in Jordan's favor this week.
It starts with another missed game from TE Dalton Schultz. Then, there's the tough matchup of CB Sauce Gardner for WR Nico Collins.
Of course, the Texans will be without WR Tank Dell moving forward. Even WR Noah Brown is questionable after missing practice on Friday.
So, while the Jets matchup isn't great -- Houston's implied for only 18.5 points -- Jordan could easily walk into 5-6+ targets at a cheap price.
If you're looking for more stability at the position, I do think this is a fine week to pay up for Travis Kelce ($8,000). As usual, he easily leads the position in both raw and ceiling projection.

Defense
Browns ($3,800) vs. Jaguars
Also consider: Ravens
