Off-the-cuff opinions from random guys on the internet are not the best foundation for creating PPR rookie Rankings. You wouldn’t buy a house with a cracked or leaking basement, would you? No! The foundation for anything is critical.
At Draft Sharks, our Dynasty Rankings are based on data—a lot of it. We start with a player's baseline, a weighted average of this year’s projection, and their last two seasons. Then we use 3-year, 5-year, and 10-year fantasy forecasted output. This isn't guesswork. Our process has been built using machine learning for all NFL data since 1999. We determine this output using scientifically-sound performance aging curves and retirement rates. And these numbers are specific to both positional groups and archetypes of players. These are the smartest fantasy football projections on the market. Period.
3D values+ then apply a weighted average of those 1-,3-,5- and 10-year projections and a cross-positional algorithm based on your exact league setup and scoring. The results are an unparalleled single (true) value you can use universally on the site. That means you can use these values for ranking in the preseason, regular season, and trade valuations.
Ready to go for the gold? In the Draft War Room you can adjust the weighting even heavier toward year-one projection in "Win Now" mode.

1 | 2.03 | 5 | 23.0 | 272.6 | 826 | 1401 | 2772 | 18 | Ward’s college journey took him from Incarnate Word to Washington State to Miami. The top pick improved at each stop, throwing for 4,313 yards, 39 TDs, and seven INTs for the Hurricanes in 2024. Ward showed the ability to extend plays and make accurate throws all over the field. He can also scramble at times, adding potential fantasy value. He’ll be a day 1 starter in Tennessee, but expect him to perform as a fantasy QB2 in ‘25. Longer-term,... Show More »
2 | 3.09 | 11 | 22.0 | 66.4 | 768 | 1309 | 2642 | 13 | Dart flashed his arm talent as a true freshman at USC, but he was fully unlocked this past year at Ole Miss. He completed 69.3% of his passes for 4,279 yards, 29 TDs, and 6 INTs. With a quick release and improved coverage recognition, Dart showed the potential to stick as an NFL starter. He also adds enough mobility to make a fantasy impact. The Giants offer a shot at starting at some point in 2025, but Dart’s rookie year figures to be a... Show More »
3 | 7.03 | 12 | 25.6 | 90.1 | 642 | 1055 | 2024 | 3 | Shough’s early second round draft capital makes him the heir apparent to QB Derek Carr. Turning 26-years in September, he will be older than almost a third of starting NFL QBs. Expect Shough to sit for a year, but he has some appeal with HC Kellen Moore’s experience with QBs.
4 | 3.03 | 10 | 22.4 | 18.3 | 588 | 1000 | 1920 | -4 | Milroe boasts one of the best QB rushing profiles since Lamar Jackson. He should be developed as a passer behind Sam Darnold, giving the Seahawks the potential for an electric QB down the line. If they can figure out how to harness Milroe’s passing, he could be gangbusters for fantasy in a few years.
5 | 4.12 | 10 | 23.2 | 58 | 286 | 485 | 960 | -20 | Sanders' fall to the fifth round changes his NFL potential massively. Instead of being a lock to start as a rookie, he will be battling to make the team. Despite this, Sanders still has arm talent and accuracy to potentially be worth stashing in Superflex leagues.
6 | 5.03 | 10 | 24.4 | 30.4 | 250 | 423 | 817 | -23 | Gabriel was a surprise third-round pick for the Browns, but enters one of the worst QB rooms in the league. Though Kenny Pickett and Joe Flacco will get first crack to start, Gabriel could see starts as a rookie. He is small, but the rushing upside and accuracy are intriguing for QB2 numbers if he gets a chance in the future.
7 | 6.04 | 9 | 23.6 | 14.1 | 286 | 485 | 960 | -24 | Howard has generally been a mediocre QB in terms of accuracy and arm strength for most of his career, but he had an outstanding playoff run, throwing for 1,150 yards and eight TDs with two INTs. Howard lands in a good situation on the Steelers to be a potential starter long term, and maybe even find a few starts this year. He has some rushing upside and plenty of experience. If he does end up as the starter, he will be a low ceiling/high floor... Show More »
8 | 4.06 | 6 | 22.1 | 0 | 208 | 355 | 717 | -30 | Ewers was one of the best QB recruits of all time, but he could never pull off consistent play at Texas. He threw for a modest 3,189 yards, 29 TDs, and 11 INTs, despite Texas transferring in top WR talent. Ewers could be a long-term option for the Dolphins if Tua Tagovailoa gets injured again and they want a young player with upside to develop.

9 | 7.04 | 5 | 22.6 | 0 | 173 | 293 | 580 | -32 | McCord profiles as a back-up for the Eagles long-term. Though he won’t have much stand alone value, his arm strength and experience could make him a streaming option if Jalen Hurts does go down with an injury.
10 | 6.09 | 14 | 22.6 | 0 | 137 | 234 | 473 | -35 | Leonard brings rushing ability to the table with 832 yards on the ground this season, but also was efficient through the year, completing 66.5% of passes for 2,383 yards, 18 TDs and 6 INTs. Leonard will be a developmental QB for the Colts, but his rushing upside could make him an attractive streaming candidate if he ever is thrust into the lineup.
11 | 7.06 | 9 | 24.5 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | -44 | Rourke has flashed NFL talent and upside at times, but he will be a longshot to even make the 49ers roster. At Indiana, he threw for 3042 yards and 29 TDs with only four INTs. HC Kyle Shannahan’s offense is a great fit. |
