2018 Fantasy Football Bye Weeks
The 2018 NFL schedule rolled out Thursday night, and it includes some changes to the bye weeks.
They’ll start a week earlier than they did last year -- well, a week earlier than they were scheduled to start anyway, before the Dolphins and Buccaneers had weather bench them for Week 1.
The 2018 bye slate will start with 2 teams sitting out Week 4, with 2-team byes following the next 2 weeks as well. The byes will also extend a week further this season, with 2 teams out for Week 12. That pushes byes into playoff time for high-stakes formats such as the FFPC.
That means Todd Gurley and Kareem Hunt -- a pair of 1st-round ADP backs -- won’t be available in the 1st week of your playoffs in such a tournament. Keep that in mind if you’re drafting. (Of course, it also means that you’d have either player for all 11 weeks of the regular season.)
Here’s the full slate of byes so that you can draft accordingly:
Week 4
Carolina Panthers
Washington
Week 5
Chicago Bears
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Week 6
Detroit Lions
New Orleans Saints
Week 7
Green Bay Packers
Oakland Raiders
Pittsburgh Steelers
Seattle Seahawks
Week 8
Atlanta Falcons
Dallas Cowboys
Los Angeles Chargers
Tennessee Titans
Week 9
Arizona Cardinals
Cincinnati Bengals
Indianapolis Colts
Jacksonville Jaguars
New York Giants
Philadelphia Eagles
Week 10
Baltimore Ravens
Denver Broncos
Houston Texans
Minnesota Vikings
Week 11
Buffalo Bills
Cleveland Browns
Miami Dolphins
New England Patriots
New York Jets
San Francisco 49ers
Week 12
Kansas City Chiefs
Los Angeles Rams
There will again be 3 games in London, with just 2 of them affecting fantasy scheduling.
The Seahawks will face the Raiders across the pond in Week 6, with a 1 p.m. ET kickoff. The other 2 England contests -- Titans-Chargers in Week 7 and Eagles-Jaguars in Week 8 -- will kick at 9:30 ET. That’ll mean no main DFS slate for those 2 games.
