2015 NFL Schedule More Helpful with Bye Weeks
For us fantasy players, there's probably no aspect of the 2015 NFL schedule more important than bye weeks.
Just like last season, they'll start arriving in Week 4 -- though this year will only hit us with 2 teams off in that 1st week after the 2014 season saw 6 sit out for that initial bye. Perhaps the NFL schedule makers have finally started to care about the fantasy player.
2014 featured 4 weeks of 2 bye teams and 3 other monster weeks of 6. The 2015 schedule has just the 1 case of 2 teams sitting and a single 6-team bye.
That 6-teamer in Week 9 could prove challenging for fantasy owners. Jamaal Charles, Arian Foster, Marshawn Lynch, Joique Bell, Justin Forsett and whoever's taking over Andre Ellington's handoffs will be sitting. At least those teams won't take too much WR value with them.
Otherwise, it looks like a manageable set of byes. Of course, we'll see how different things look once the season actually begins. For now, here's the full slate of 2015 bye weeks ...
