Terrance Ferguson Boosts Stock At Combine

Oregon TE Terrance Ferguson led all TEs with a 4.63-second forty time at the Combine on Friday night. The 6'5, 247-pounder also recorded a strong 39-inch vertical and 10'2 broad jump. Ferguson's 9.81 Relative Athletic Score led the position this year and is a 96th percentile mark among all TEs since 1987. His closest athletic comparables include Mike Gesicki and Jared Cook. Ferguson also impressed in the on-field drills, flashing nice routes and a big catch radius.

2025 Fantasy Football Impact

Ferguson is a clear Combine winner, especially with the TE group as a whole underwhelming. NFL.com's Chad Reuter writes that Ferguson "might have secured a Day 2 spot" with his performance in Indianapolis.

The 22-year-old emerged as Oregon's lead TE as a sophomore back in 2022 and improved his production each of the next two years, topping out with 43 catches for 591 yards this past season. Ferguson ranked top-12 among 58 qualifying TEs in both yards per route and Pro Football Focus receiving grade in 2024.

We'll see where his stock goes from here and where he ultimately lands in next month's NFL Draft. But Ferguson is shaping up as a sleeper in dynasty rookie drafts and a potential late-round flier in best ball.
