The Browns have ruled LB Jordan Hicks out for Saturday's game against the Ravens because of a concussion.
When Cleveland went without Hicks and Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah back in Week 9, Mohamoud Diabate led the LBs at 91% playing time.
Devin Bush followed at 81%, with Winston Reid a distant third (26%).
Bush tallied team highs in total tackles (8) and solos (6) for that game, though, and has generally been the more efficient tackle collector than Diabate this season.
Bush is the Cleveland LB to play in IDP leagues if you need one.
Hicks has one more year on his Browns contract but looks like a strong cut candidate this offseason.
Spotrac projects Cleveland to be in the league's second-worst cap position for 2025, at more than $19 million over the expected cap.
Cutting Hicks ahead of his age-34 season would leave $2.6 million in dead cap but save the team roughly $1.5 million in cap space.
The Browns have JOK locked in on a long-term deal at LB, but don't be surprised if they look to add to the position in free agency or the draft.
Diabate remains under contract at just more than $1 million for 2025. Bush will be a free agent.
