Cowboys WR Brandin Cooks led the team in targets (8), receptions (4), and receiving yards (52) with WR CeeDee Lamb out for Sunday's loss to the Eagles. All three marks also set season highs for Cooks. TE Jake Ferguson (5), WR Jalen Tolbert (4), and WR/RB Kavontae Turpin (4) trailed him in targets.
This is clearly not a "the production needs to go somewhere" scenario with Lamb closing the year on IR.
Cooper Rush threw for just 147 yards in the game -- his fewest since his previous Philly meeting, the Week 10 contest that immediately followed Dak Prescott's season-ending hamstring injury.
Dallas also attempted only 29 throws (vs. 30 rushes) in a game it lost by 34.
Week 18 brings a home date with a softer Washington D. That means you can use Cooks then Tolbert if you really need to at WR. But this isn't a situation to target.
Ferguson -- who managed just 18 yards on 3 catches at Philly -- hasn't exceeded 40 receiving yards in a game since the week Prescott went down.
He's no more than a TE2-level option vs. the Commanders in Week 18.
