Bengals WR Tee Higgins caught 11 of 12 targets for 131 yards and THREE TDs. Fantasy managers were rewarded if they stuck with Higgins despite his Questionable tag. He faces potential pending free agency this offseason.
With a long Overtime game against the Broncos, the Bengals passing game showed out.
QB Joe Burrow completed 39 of 49 passes for 412 yards and three passing TDs along with another on the ground.
WR Ja'Marr Chase caught nine of 15 targets for 102 yards while TE Mike Gesicki caught 10 of 12 targets for 86 yards.
It capped an incredible run for the Bengals offense throughout the fantasy playoffs.
Higgins was the highlight of the show obviously, but he faces potential free agency.
Higgins is extremely tough to peg in terms of his dynasty future.
He is extremely talented, but has also had his share of random injuries and disappearing act performances.
If he stays on the Bengals, there is no doubt Higgins could be a consistent WR2 with WR1 upside week to week.
But, he will also be a step behind Ja'Marr Chase in Cincinnati.
if Higgins hits free agency, does he gain value as a WR1 on a team with a worse offense or QB? Probably not.
Managers holding Higgins should hope for the Bengals to somehow retain him long term, even if it caps the ultimate upside to be a top five fantasy WR.
