Ravens TE Isaiah Likely caught just one pass in Wednesday's win over the Texans, but that belied season-high usage. He led the skill-position players by playing 16 of 19 passing downs and running a team-high 15 routes. His 76% snap share marked a season high. Likely's lone catch did go for a 9-yard TD, his second straight game and third among the past four with a score.
Baltimore doesn't look like it can lock in its playoff position before Week 18, so the Ravens should be playing to win in the finale.
That might be bad news for Likely. A clinched scenario would likely put Mark Andrews on the sideline and feature Likely as the lead TE.
As it is, though, he should see decent playing time in another matchup that should prove easy for his team -- and thus produce limited passing volume.
Expect to find Likely low in TE2 territory once again for our Week 18 rankings.
It's hard to see Likely's 2025 outlook changing much vs. how his 2024 played out.
Andrews still has two years left on his contract, and his 2025 doesn't look cuttable in terms of how much dead money it would leave on the team's salary cap.
Andrews also doesn't turn 30 until Sept. 6. So he's not "old" for the position. High-level TEs historically produce at 80-90% of their fantasy peak through that season.
Barring an offseason move for either TE, expect similar usage for Likely in 2025 -- the final year of his rookie deal.
He's set to hit unrestricted free agency ahead of 2026, which will be his age-26 campaign.
