Niners LB Dre Greenlaw is questionable for Thursday night's game against the Rams after putting in a full practice Wednesday. It was merely a walkthrough, but also the first time Greenlaw has been listed as a full participant since returning to practice ahead of the Week 13 game. Edge Nick Bosa is also questionable after returning to a limited practice Wednesday. San Francisco also ruled out rookie S Malik Mustapha.
Wednesday marked the first time Bosa has practiced since Friday of Week 11.
That week found him playing, off a hip injury, but making it through just 43% of San Francisco's defensive snaps -- about half his normal playing time.
Bosa has missed three games since with oblique and hip injuries. Even if he's active Thursday night, it's tough to expect his usual playing time.
Greenlaw, of course, hasn't played since suffering an Achilles' tear in the Super Bowl. I'll be surprised if he gets a full snap allotment his first game back.
Mustapha's absence likely makes Ji'Ayir Brown and Talanoa Hufanga full-timers at safety. Check the DB rankings to see where they land for Week 15.
