Rams QB Matthew Stafford threw for 320 yards and 2 TDs on 23 of 30 passing in Sunday's win over Buffalo. His passing yardage marked the second-highest by a QB against the Bills this season. He’s also now gone four straight games without an INT.
Stafford's accuracy was simply absurd in this one.
Mostly working in the short to intermediate ranges, Stafford recorded a 76.7% completion rate and +9.5% completion rate over expected. His tight window throw rate of 20% would rank near the top of the league over a full season, but Rams WRs – namely Puka Nacua – continued to deliver tough catches.
Nacua finished with 12 grabs, 162 yards, and 1 score, giving him a whopping 46.6% target share. Cooper Kupp accounted for a 26.6% share and Stafford's other TD.
Stafford's upcoming schedule isn't ideal (at 49ers, at Jets), but his current form suggests top-12 upside will remain for both matchups.
