Panthers RB Chuba Hubbard racked up 26 carries and 5 targets in Sunday's loss to the Eagles. He tallied 92 yards and a TD on the ground, plus 4 receptions for 15 yards. Hubbard saw just one carry go to Jonathon Brooks before the rookie injured his right knee. And No. 3 RB Raheem Blackshear left early with a chest injury.
We'll have to wait for official word on Brooks' injury, but it certainly didn't look good. He went down without contact and avoided putting weight on it afterward.
At the very least, Brooks looks unlikely to be a factor the rest of this season.
That clears the way for Hubbard to dominate backfield usage through a fairly neutral remaining schedule.
Next comes an upside home date with Dallas in Week 15. Hubbard will carry upside into RB1 range for that one.
