Jets RB Breece Hall (knee) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game vs. the Dolphins. He's dealing with a hyperextension and MCL issue in his left knee, according to ESPN's Rich Cimini. That's the same knee in which Hall tore the ACL in October 2022. We haven't heard a timeline for Hall's return, but it's possible that the 3-9 Jets just shut him down for the season. He's worth keeping stashed on all fantasy rosters for now, but Hall owners should be prepping to be without him beyond just this week.
2024 Fantasy Football Impact
Hall's absence leaves the Jets backfield to rookies Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis. Allen has been well ahead of Davis on the depth chart all season and is the better fantasy bet in Week 14. But Davis seems to be trending up, tallying a season-high four touches last week and drawing praise from the coaching staff. Allen, meanwhile, is down to 3.6 yards per carry on the season, including 2.8 over his last eight games.
Allen checks in as a low-end RB2 in the Week 14 Rankings.
We'd try not to use Davis in Week 14 fantasy lineups, but he's worth stashing in fantasy leagues of 12+ teams in case his role is bigger than expected.
