Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson managed just 3 receptions for 28 yards in Sunday's win over the Cardinals. His 6 targets tied for second on the team, though, and constituted 19.4% of Sam Darnold's total pass attempts. Hockenson also ranked third among Vikings in routes, running one on 72% of Darnold's dropbacks.
This was simply the kind of down game that will happen rather than a worrisome result for a guy who's been inconsistent.
That route rate marked a slight dip vs. Week 12, but his playing time stayed north of 60% for the second straight week -- and just the second time among five appearances this year.
Expect Hockenson to stay in this range of usage and remain usable for PPR lineups.
