Packers QB Jordan Love completed 21 of 28 passes for 274 yards and 2 TDs in Thursday’s win over Miami. High efficiency was key, as Love finished with fewer than 30 attempts for the third straight week.
Love excelled on the short week, despite playing without Romeo Doubs (concussion). He hit Jayden Reed for two first half scores. First, Love hit him on an out-breaking route at the goal line. Later, Reed took a screen to the end zone from 12 yards out.
On the day, Love benefited from excellent protection. He wasn’t sacked and faced pressure on only 17.9% of his dropbacks, per Next Gen Stats. Love also dominated vs. zone coverage, per NGS, completing 17 of 21 passes for 263 yards and a score.
Week 14 brings a tough matchup vs. Detroit, but the remaining matchups (Seattle, New Orleans, Minnesota) look no worse than slightly negative, per our QB strength of schedule. Love remains a low-end QB1.
