Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle went off for 8 catches, 144 yards, and 1 score in a Week 12 win over New England. His 28.4 PPR points marked his highest output since Week 8 of 2022.
2024 Fantasy Football Impact
Waddle ranked second on the Dolphins in targets (9) behind only Jonnu Smith. His TD came on a short pass against busted zone coverage.
Waddle’s explosiveness showed after the catch on that play and several others, as Tua Tagovailoa played one of his best games. The QB also chucked it a useful 40 times.
Still, the WR made it look like 2023 again the way he repeatedly created separation on slants and in-breakers.
We’re likely to see some production swings going forward, especially after a 48-yard day from Tyreek Hill. Note that the Dolphins have a neutral WR schedule going forward.
Treat Waddle as a boom/bust WR3 for a Thanksgiving Day matchup with Green Bay.
