The Giants on Saturday activated Edge Kayvon Thibodeaux from IR. He missed the past five games following surgery for a wrist fracture. Thibodeaux was deemed questionable for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, but his activation indicates he's ready to play.
It's tough to know how much playing time we should expect for Thibodeaux in his return game. Edge Azeez Ojulari has played well in an elevated role since the starter went down.
Ojulari was playing 34-44% of snaps before Thibodeaux's injury. Barring more specific reports on Thibodeaux's playing time, that seems a fair range to expect for him in his first game back.
The 2-8 Giants have little reason to push the 23-year-old too hard right now. Thibodeaux remains under contract through at least 2025, with a club option for 2026.
He'll make for a risky Week 12 IDP play but could prove worth stashing ahead of a Week 13 visit to Dallas.
