Titans LB Jack Gibbens fractured his right leg in Sunday's loss to the Vikings. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that Gibbens is having surgery on the league today and "faces a four-month recovery."
That will obviously knock Gibbens out for the rest of this season.
Jerome Baker -- who hadn't played a snap in the three games since arriving from Seattle in the Ernest Jones trade -- filled in for 84% playing time against Minnesota. That points to him taking over the starting gig next to Kenneth Murray the rest of the way.
Rookie Cedric Gray might get a shot at some point, but he has yet to play a snap despite being activated from IR at the end of October.
Gibbens should have time to be ready for 2025 and appears likely to return to Tennessee, if the team wants him. Gibbens -- who turns 26 later this month -- will be a restricted free agent this offseason.
