Saints utilityman Taysom Hill delivered numbers all around in Sunday's win over the Browns. But he did his greatest damage on the ground, and in the second half of the game. Hill carried five times for 129 yards and 2 TDs after the break, following a first half that saw him post a 2-9-1 rushing line and 7 receptions for 36 yards. For the game, Hill racked up 138 yards and 3 TDs on the ground, 8 receptions for 50 yards, and 1 completion for 18 yards with an INT passing.
Hill scored from 10 yards out in the first quarter, 33 yards out early in the fourth quarter, and then 75 yards out late.
He's almost certainly not going to have a day similar to this the rest of the season, in any way.
Even Hill's receiving production was out of line with previous weeks. His 18 pass routes trailed Foster Moreau for second among Saints TEs. His 10 targets marked a career high and just the second time he has garnered more than 5 targets in a game.
But Hill has seen more favorable usage over the past four games and looks like a weekly starter where he carries TE eligibility.
Although Hill worked out as a QB starter in Week 11, he's still not a guy you should try to start at that position in fantasy leagues.
