Patriots QB Drake Maye threw for 282 yards, two TDs, and one INT in the Week 11 loss to the Rams. He completed a season-high 75% of his passes and averaged 7.1 yards per attempt. Maye hooked up with WR Kendrick Bourne and OL Vederian Lowe for the TDs. His INT came on an overthrow down the middle of the field with less than two minutes to go. Maye added 27 rushing yards on three carries.
Maye has now thrown for multiple TDs in three of his five full games. He's averaging 238 passing yards per game plus 40 rushing yards. He finished as a top-15 fantasy QB in each of his first four full games and will likely make it five-for-five with this Week 11 performance.
Maye certainly deserves QB1 consideration going forward -- even if it feels uncomfortable with his poor offensive line and pass-catching corps. The remaining schedule presents some challenges, though. Maye gets the Dolphins' second-ranked QB defense next week and the Bills' seventh-ranked unit in Week 16. There are also neutral matchups against the Cardinals and Chargers, plus a Week 14 bye. Maye's only remaining positive matchup comes in Week 13 against the Colts.
He'll be a nice QB1 play in Week 13, but you ideally have other options the rest of the weeks.
