Jerry Jones confirmed on his weekly radio spot Tuesday that QB Dak Prescott will have season-ending surgery on his injured hamstring Wednesday.
Jones: "His prognosis is wonderful. It just means we're not going to have him for the rest of the year."
We're all about to get more Cooper Rush than we could possibly want. At least it probably can't get worse than his 45-yard outing against the Eagles in Week 10.
On the other hand, this year's offense doesn't seem equipped to support the 191 yards per game Rush averaged as a five-week starter in Prescott's place back in 2022.
Prescott seems like he should be ready to start 2025 as usual. We'll certainly watch for updates ahead of that -- and see what these Cowboys do to fix this year's terrible offense.
